Hey there,

If the push notifications are set up on the site that you used for this comment, I think the issue is that you&#039;re not running SSL compliant. I certainly didn&#039;t get prompted to opt in to push notifications, leading me to believe something is not set up correctly. If it&#039;s a different site, let me know. 

SSL compatibility makes this a one-click proposition; If you don’t have SSL, you won’t offer the “native” single opt-in prompt. It will need to use a custom double opt-in, which will dramatically lower conversion.

For some reason I&#039;m seeing virtually no people sign up for push notifications, about 1 in the last 5000 users has signed up. 

Obviously it isn&#039;t worth slowing down my website or having that distraction if such few people opt-in.]]></description>
