Hey Brooke,
It's more about being accepted by the advertising partners. They use a variety of proprietary tools to decide whether or not they'll bid on a website, and if your website doesn't show up in their tools, they simply won't bid - so having an established website is important for their needs. You can read more about our application process, and I think that would answer any lingering questions you may have.

Do you need to already have a successful blog/website with advertisement to be considered as a client of Medeiavine? I have a wordpress website. I got great (in my opinion) traffic to the site on a daily basis despite my irregularity. The blog led me to get several freelance writing gigs over the past year, which has prevented me from being as dedicated to it as possible. Through my new publishing friends encouragement, I am ready to make my website my priority, but I have no idea what I should do to be taken seriously in this type of market. If you could shed some light on this for me, I would be greatly appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Brooke

P.S. I also purchased a .com of my name that I could also use.
