Saying that pagespeed is important for us at Mediavine is quite the understatement. It has driven the development of our ad technology and is driving the development of our new WordPress products. Our CEO Eric Hochberger loves talking pagespeed. In fact, he’s become a little notorious for it at Mediavine. The whole team preaches it every chance we get. On blog posts, in help docs, at conferences, on Facebook Lives, etc. But why are we so obsessed? Well, to put it simply, we’re obsessed because the INTERNET is obsessed. Pagespeed is not only driving Mediavine’s development decisions, but those of social media sites like Facebook and Pinterest.
